Channel 4’s Derry Girls has become the biggest television hit in the North since 2002.
Figures released for the show, set in the 1990s, reveal that it was wathced by an average audience of 519,000 viewers.
That’s a staggering 64.2% of the total audience tuned in to watch it when it was broadcast.
A total of 65% of all 16 to 34 year old split their sides laughing with the antics of the girls.
With more than 2.5 million viewers watching it across Britain, it’s Channel 4’s biggest comedy hit for more than a decade.
And the good news is that a second series is already in the pipeline.
