Police at Strand Road quizzing man over drug dealing in the city
A MAN is in police custody in Derry being quizzed about drug dealing in the city.
He was detained during a planned arrest and search operation of a house in the Bogside area.
Police in Derry say: “District Support Team officers assisted by our colleagues in TSG last night conducted a drug search at a property in the Bogside area of the city.
“One male has been arrested in relation to drug supply offences.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
The suspect is currently being detained at the PACE custody suite at Strand Road police station.
