DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit (TIU) probing violent dissident republican activity have arrested a man.
The 45-year-old was detained under section 41 of the Terrorism Act.
A house was searched in the Magowan Park area as part of the investigation.
A number of items have been removed for further examination.
The suspect is currently in the serious crime custody suite in Musgrave PSNI station in Belfast assisting TIU detectives with their inquiries.
