TWO have been charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in Derry during a house party at the weekend.
Karol Kelly, aged 35, was attacked during a fight involving a group of men in Rosemount’s Grafton Street at around 2.40 am on Sunday morning.
Mr Kelly was the father of five children aged from three to 15.
The men, aged 19 and 20, are due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning, Wednesday, March 7, for a first remand hearing..
They were arrested on Sunday following the horrific incident.
Police are expected to oppose bail due to the seriousness of the charges.
The brutal stab murder of Mr Kelly has stunned the local community in the Rosemount area of the city.
