POLICE in Derry received a report of criminal damage to a Foyle Search and Rescue boat.
The incident happened in the Queens Quay area of the city at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday, March 7.
Sergeant Rainey said: “It is believed that £5,000 worth of damage was caused to a Foyle Search and Rescue boat during the incident.”
“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1209 7/3/18.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100 per cent anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
