POLICE are on the trail of the owner of this dangerous van seized yesterday in Derry.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “Ballyarnett Npt 🚔 were travelling through Glenabbey when we saw this white van with a touch of green here and there. Could it have been part of the recent ☘ St Patrick’s day 🍀 carnival we thought.
“However, then we notice that there are no number plates, the light is broken, the wing mirror is hanging off, it has two front bald tyres, the breaks are badly rusted, it’s insecure and a chassis number check is inconclusive.
“To say we are not happy!!! 👹
“On top of this a local resident 😎 tells police that it only recently appeared and no one knows who owns it.
“Given the circumstances the vehicle is seized 🎉. It was knackered ⛽ worrying to think that it was recently being driven on our streets.
“I don’t believe the owner wants to speak with police 🚓 but we would like to speak with them. So if you can help identify the owner please contact Ballyarnett Npt.
“They have some questions 😓 to answer regarding this vehicle and also an industrial style power washer found inside.
“A picture of the power washer will soon follow in the comments area of this post.”
