POLICE in Derry are advising the public to ‘NEVER leave keys in the ignition of their cars.
It follows reports of a number of car thefts to poilce.
PSNI Foyle say: “Northern Call Management (NCMC) have received a number of reports over the past few days of cars stolen where the key has been left inside.
“A car is probably the second most expensive possession we own.
“‘NEVER EVER’ leave keys in the car.
“It is an open invitation to a thief and can have an affect on your insurance.”
