POLICE in Derry say a “priority offender” has been charged over a burglary spree in the city.
The 21 year old from the city has been charged to court later today with two burglaries, two attempted burglaries and vehicle interference.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “This is in connection with crimes reported in the Hazelbank and Ardmore areas of the city.
“The Reducing Offending Unit is based in Strand Road, we continue to work with statutory agencies and members of the public to reduce crime and re-offending by priority offenders in the Derry City & Strabane area.”
The suspect will face Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning for a first remand hearing.
