THE PSNI in Derry has praised the public’s help in providing information into local paramilitary money raking rackets and also about child abuse.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “Just a small example of how information from the local community in the past week has helped police.
“We have recovered heroin, cannabis and finances bound for paramilitary coffers.
“We have also identified an important witness in a child abuse case.
“The actions of responsible citizens who want to live in a safe peaceful community.”
Anyone with information about crime is Derry is asked to police at Strand Road on the 101 non-emergency number.
