THE PSNI in Derry have removed this dangerous bike from the streets in the city.

Police say the bike has since been examined the bike and says it is a “death trap” machine.

PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “Again over the last few nights  we have been experiencing a few problems with quads and scramblers  in Shantallow and Galliagh.

“Many of these have been reported ☎ to police including issues at Madams Bank Road on Thursday night.

“At this time the youths  who had gathered to watch a small bike were throwing items at passing motorist’s.

“Last night a bike similar to that used was located abandoned at Ardnamoyle Park near the Donkey Field .

“We have called with local residents who know nothing about the bike.

“I have also sought the advice of a young aspiring local mechanic who reliably informed me that it is a “death trap”

“I agree and the “death trap” has been seized. If any potential owner would like to discuss this matter feel free to call down and ask your friendly Ballyarnett NPT officer.

“The clock is ticking ⏰ and it will be destroyed in due course if it is not claimed.”
