THE X Factor is coming back to the North of Ireland next month with early auditions taking place in Derry and Belfast.
The long-running singing competition is currently on the look out for the next big thing and producers are searching the whole of the UK and Ireland for talented stars of the future to take part in this year’s show.
The open auditions will take place in Derry on Friday, May 11 at the Richmond Shopping Centre between 1-8 pm.
There will also be auditions at Victoria Square in Belfast on Saturday, May 12, from 10 am-6 pm and Sunday, May 13, between 1-6pm.
Meanwhile, auditions in Dublin will be held at the St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre on Friday 4, Saturday 5, and Sunday 6 May from 10am-6pm.
Hopefuls who impress the show’s producers will then make it through to the next stage of the competition which is to perform in front of the famous judging panel.
For your chance of stardom all you have to do is show up at the scheduled times and sing your heart out.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and proof of age will be required.

Last year’s X Factor competition was won by London four-piece Rak-Su.
Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh, and Sharon Osbourne completed the judging panel – however fans are still waiting on confirmation all four will return for 2018.
The X Factor will broadcast on UTV later this year.
