Houses evacuated in security alert over suspicious object

POLICE are currently dealing with a security alert.

An area around the Drumrallagh area is cordoned following the discovery of a suspicious object.

The discovery comes after a series of house searches in the area.

Police say the street has been closed and a number of homes evacuated as the object is examined.

There are no further details at present.
