THE dedication of health and social care workers in the face of growing pressures is highlighted by a new survey on inpatient experience, Sinn Féin Health spokesperson Councillor Patricia Logue has said.
Commenting on the release of the Inpatient Patient Experience survey, she said: “The survey today shows that in many aspects of a patient’s hospital experience in the north of Ireland there is a high level of satisfaction.
“This again highlights the hard work and dedication of hospital staff to providing high standards of care to patients.
“The high level of satisfaction is all the more commendable given the growing pressures on health and social care staff and services across the north.
“While there are many positives from the survey there are also areas where the patient’s experience can be improved.
“Hospital management should consider the findings of this survey, in the spirit of listening to the patient voice, to further improve patient experience of hospital care in the north of Ireland.”
