DERRY City FC say that the demand for match tickets this season has been phenomenal (even more so with our council reduced capacity).
And each week people have been searching all outlets throughout the town for a match ticket – especially for the coveted Mark Farren Stand tickets.
City say on its website: “This has led to games selling out, the club pulling the online tickets off sale and our outlets having to turn people away.
“Due to the high demand for tickets the board of directors have decided to sell a ‘half-season ticket’ which will be usable from the Derry v Sligo game on Friday 1st June onwards.
“Not only does a Season Ticket guarantee you a European Ticket (these will more than likely sell out) it also allows you a fixed seat every game and takes the hassle out of trying to purchase a match ticket.
“A season ticket has always been better value for money and now that we are approaching halfway through our season it is a perfect opportunity for fans to make the games more enjoyable.”
