POLICE ‘night owl’ patrols have arrested a man for attempted break in of a property.
PSNI Foyle said Local Policing Team 5 (LPT5) had a busy weekend on night shift in the city.
Said a police spokesperson: “In between calls for service we have been out in the community conducting preventative patrols for Burglaries.
“Here are a few pictures taken on patrol over the weekend while you were sleeping.
“During the course of these patrols one male has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.”
The suspect was conveyed to Strand Road police station for questioning.
