McKnight welcomes new shopping facility and creation of 50 jobs at Skeoge

DERRY Sinn Fein Councillor Caoimhe McKnight has welcomed the news that a new Eurospar is set to open in the autumn at Skeoge.

The plans by the Henderson Group will create 50 jobs for the area.

She said: “It’s good news for the area that a new supermarket is set to open later this year.

“It will create fifty much needed full and part time jobs as well as providing much needed services such as a Post Office and an ATM .”
