A motorcyclist was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital last night following what police described as a serious collision between a bike and car outside Limavady.
He had earlier received first aid at the scene by paramedics.
The PSNI said the Broad Road between Limavady and Coleraine was closed last night following the collision.
Diversions were put in place between Drumalief Road and Drumsurn Road.
