SDLP Leader Colum Eastwood has welcomed the announcement of E&I Engineering to invest on the Derry/Donegal border.
The MLA for Foyle commented:
“The announcement of a further 90 jobs in the North West is a welcomed step to build upon the economy in the area.
“The SDLP have continuously called for regional balance across the North after years of high unemployment and underinvestment west of the Bann.
“In an age of technology it is a breath of fresh air that companies such as E&I Engineering are investing in Ireland.
“I want to thank Managing Director Philip O’Doherty for taking this step, and I look forward to working with him and his team more closely.”
