Police raids net £100,000 drugs and cash in Derry fraud probe

THE PSNI say they have seized cash and drugs worth up to £100,000 in raids linked a Derry fraud racket.

PSNI Foyle say: “District Support Team (DST) Officers based in Derry city, supported by colleagues from Belfast TSG and Belfast LPT carried out searches today in the greater Belfast area in relation to a fraud investigation in the Derry City and Strabane area.

“As a result Class A and B Controlled Drugs along with a sum of Sterling 💷with a combined value of between £90,000 and £100,000 was seized.

“Two arrests were made and these persons are currently assisting with Police enquiries.”
