THE PSNI say that two people were prevented from entering the waters at bridges in Derry today.
A spokesperson said: “Police in Foyle have dealt with two people on our bridges today, successful interventions.
“But we would rather it didn’t get that far.
“Remember #ItsOkNotToBeOk so talk to someone if you need help.
“Ring us or ring one of these other numbers above.”
The news comes on the same that it was a revealed that a suicide prevention strategy has been drafted.
But because of a lack of government at Stormont, there is no Health Minister to implement it the badly needed plan to help those with suicidal thoughts.
