A MAN has been arrested over a probe in Derry into the sale of contraband cigarettes.
PSNI Foyle say: “Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, September 26) officers from your District Support Team seized a quantity a suspected counterfeit cigarettes as well as over £10,000 in cash during a search of a van in Creggan.
“We arrested the driver, seized his van, searched two properties.”
The man was taken to was to taken Strand Road police station for questioning.
