SINN Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald has met with the Parades Commission to raise concerns over a number of marches in the Coleraine area over the summer.
Commenting after the meeting, the East Derry MLA said: “I met with the Parades Commission to discuss concerns raised throughout the parading season by local residents in Coleraine.
“Over the past couple of years the marching season in Coleraine has passed off largely peacefully and we would like that to continue in future.
“However, a number of incidents occurred during band parades this year and I have engaged with the PSNI and Parades Commission over the past number of months on these.
“I had a useful discussion with the Parades Commission today and welcome that they are looking at how to address the concerns raised.”
