A DERRY City supporters club has taken aim at manager Kenny Shiels after Monday night’s defeat to relegated premiership side Bray Wanderers.
Members of the Northside Supporters Club travelled to the Carlisle Grounds and watched their “woeful” side go down 2-1 to Bray.
John Sullivan scored a last gasp winner in the 95th minute to earn his side their first points in the league in ten games.
In a message on the Pride of the Northside Supporters Club Facebook page, chairman Mickey Kerrigan said after the game:
“Some of the hardy souls of the Pride of Northside supporters club who attended he Derry City game versus Bray wanderers tonight and witnessed a terrible result against a team that has been relegated.
“Derry City were woefully wasteful and lacking leadership and imagination.
“Our members are absolutely disgusted by this outcome and concluded that something is seriously wrong at the club and must be urgently addressed.
“A few weeks ago the manager declared that he was a miracle worker.
“Last weekend he declared that he is now a magician saying he now pulling rabbits out of a hat.
“As I have said before how much longer have we to endure this drivel from the manager.
“There is only so much of this stuff that fans can listen to and please spare us the excuses and get this serious situation resolved quickly, us fans can take NO more.”
