DERRY’S economy has been given a boost with the announcement 20 new jobs at global online learning company Learning Pool.
The company announced it is set to expand and double its office space on Monday, creating 20 new jobs.
Currently employing 140 people throughout Northern Ireland, Scotland, and the United Kingdom, it was founded in 2006 by CEO Paul McElvaney.
Providing services to more than 550 organisations globally, some of its clients include New Look, Tesco, Jurys Inn, and Specsavers.
“Our success to date has been built on revolutionising learning and development across organisations, giving employees the freedom to undertake training and development courses online, at times convenient to them,” said CEO Paul McElvaney.
“We’re continuing to innovate and are working on some exciting next generation products.”
The company will see the new jobs created in business development; technology and software development; finance; human resources; learning design; graphic design and customer success.
Last week it was announced the company was on Deloitte Technology’s Fast 50 list of the fastest growing tech firms in Ireland based on revenue growth.
Firms will find out where they placed on the list at a gala dinner this Friday, November 2 in Dublin.
