As our pictures show, the rain isn’t dampening the spirits as thousands of people are expected to throng into the city centre later this evening.
The parade starts and 7 pm with the fireworks display around 8.20-8.30 pm.
The Council are reminding the public that the Peace Bridge will be closed 7.15 pm and 8.45 pm.
