THE City of Derry Airport has announced that it plans to hold an emergency training exercise this week.
It will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, November 7, between 5 pm and 10 pm.
The exercise will be carried out in partnership with the PSNI, NIFRS, Western Trust, NIR, Red Cross, NIAS, UU and NWRC.
A council spokesperson said: “The purpose of the exercise is to test the airports emergency & safety capability.
“The public can be assured that emergency services will not be affected during this time.
“We thank the public in advance of this exercise for their co-operation, with disruption to the public being kept to a minimum.”
