Already today the weather is giving a taste of what will be sweeping in, with winds and persistent rain to the south and the Sperrins.
The Met Office’s yellow warning on Wednesday is in place from 9 am until 9 pm.
Tomorrow’s gusts are expected to come alongside heavy rain.
Wind speeds are expected to hit 60 mph, reaching up to 70 mph in more exposed regions.
The Met Office said: “The strong winds will also bring some rough seas and large waves, with some coastal impacts possible.”
