DERRY City and Strabane District Council staff swapped their work clothes today for Christmas jumpers to help raise cash for the Mayor John Boyle’s chosen charity during his year-long term of office, the worthy Foyle Search and Rescue.
Mayor Boyle said: “My heartfelt thanks to all the Council staff who supported my Christmas Jumper Day today to raise funds for my chosen charity Foyle Search and Rescue.
“The Council Choir were in fine voice in the reception of the Strand Road offices at lunchtime, even when I joined in myself!”
