Police in Derry hunt thieves who stole scaffolding poles

POLICE are appealing for information following a report of theft from the Limavady Road area of Derry.

A quantity of scaffolding was stolen from the area sometime around on Thursday, December 13.

Investigating officer Constable Blair said enquiries are ongoing into the theft.

He added: “We are appealing to anyone who saw a lorry in the area at the time of the incident with a crane attached or anyone with dash-cam footage at the time of the incident to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 860 16/12/18.

“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
