Man to face Derry court over stabbing of 25 year old man on Sunday in the city
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court on Boxing Day, Wednesday, December 26.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The charges follow a serious assault in the Drumleck Drive area of Derry on Sunday afternoon, 23 December and arrest of the 27 year old man.
Detective Sergeant Reid said: “Shortly before 1:40 pm on Sunday, December 23, it was reported that a 25 year old man sustained stab wound injuries at a house in the area.
“The man was treated at the scene by colleagues from the Ambulance Service.
“He was taken to hospital for injuries not believed to be life threatening.”
