A WOMAN is fighting for her life in hospital following a serious single vehicle road traffic collision in Glengrainne Gardens in Park, Derry.
The PSNI said its call management centre at Maydown received a report of the collision shortly before 5.25 am.
The female driver has been taken to hospital for treatment, where her condition is described as critical.
Police are currently at the scene.
Tiereighter Road has been closed to traffic while police investigate the circumstances of the collision.
Inspector Mullan is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact officers in Strabane on 101 quoting reference 296 13/01/19.
