But it says closures remained while investigators continue to examine the scene surrounding Saturday night’s bomb attack outside the Courthouse in Derry.
A PSNI Foyle spokesperson said: “We recognise the significant impact and disruption that the events of the weekend have had on so many people in the City.
“Our investigators are working around the clock to progress the essential and meticulous enquiries that have to be conducted.
“We have managed to reduce the cordon however Bishop Street Car Park remains closed.
“This is a priority for us to allow those with vehicles trapped inside to get them out.
“We expect to have the pedestrian access between Fountain And Bishop Street opened very shortly.
“The Court Service have stepped up to keep essential business going utilising Strabane Court for today’s business.
“The Bishops Gate Hotel is normal business.
“We really appreciate the overwhelming positive feedback we have received to date and understand the challenges of those still being impacted.
“Listening to the voice of the people the resounding message is revulsion at the extent to which those behind it have stooped only harming the harming the City and the people.
“We will keep working to resume normality and keep you updated.”
