POLICE are allowing some residents to return home this evening as it continues to reduce the cordon around the bomb site in Bishhop Street.
PSNI Foyle say: “Further update: We are working as fast as we can to get everyone back to their homes in the Bishop Street area.
“Residents in St Columb’s Court can now return to their homes.
“Thanks for your patience.”
Police hope to have further updates this evening as it works to re-open the entire area around Bishop Street once forensic scientists have completed their investigations.
