The party’s Housing spokesperson said: “This maintenance work is vital to families waiting for repairs to their homes and to the many workers employed under these contracts.
“The collapse of the process to award the contracts is therefore deeply worrying.
“Our party has written to the Chief Executive of the Housing Executive to ask for urgent answers on what has gone wrong.
“We have also sought assurances that planned maintenance work will be carried out and to confirm how many residents will be waiting on much-needed repairs and also which jobs will be impacted,” she added.
