SINN Féin Irish Language spokesperson Councillor Kevin Campbell has urged people learning the Irish Language not to miss out on the Líofa’s Gaeltacht Bursary Scheme.
Councillor Campbell said: “We are fast approaching the deadline for applications for the Líofa’s Gaeltacht Bursary Scheme.
“It provides practical support to Líofa participants.
“And it offers the opportunity for eligible applicants, irrespective of tradition and background, to be able to attend an Irish-language summer college,and experience the Irish language in all aspects of daily life.
“The deadline is this coming Tuesday, March 5, so applicants need to be quick getting their forms returned.”
