The new posts are being created as part of a £2.4 million regeneration drive across the business.
Moran’s Retail has redeveloped all three of its stores in Derry, Coleraine and Ballykelly, as well as adding new products and services.
The job creation drive will bring total employment at Moran’s Retail to 150 across all of its retail and catering operations.
The roles to be filled range from general manager to store and deli assistants, chefs and cooks to butchers and post office assistants, and delivery drivers to office administration posts.
Managing Director John Moran said: “These are very exciting times for Moran’s Retail and we are seeking 30 of the best to join us on our journey.
“Providing great working environments for our people has been central to our commitment to investing heavily in our family business.
“Our dedicated employees are the best and some have been part of the team for over 20 years.
“They are the backbone of Moran’s and we are always glad to invest in their continued development.
“Our team members are given opportunities to grow and develop with our company through in-house training and external NVQ qualifications in the likes of Food Retailing, Food Handling, Butchery and Supervisory courses.
“By hiring the best people and offering the best packages, we ensure that we continue to deliver the best standards and customer experiences across all of our departments,” he added.
As part of the regeneration drive, Moran’s Centra store in Derry, has been demolished to make way for a state-of-the-art new super-store.
The new Strand Road store is due to open in a few weeks, while extensive upgrade projects at the company’s Coleraine Centra and its SuperValu store in Ballykelly are also being completed.
The company is also introducing an innovative online system to fast-track ‘food-to-go’ ordering in its stores via Moran’s website, www.morans.com
