Said Councillor McKnight said: “From the first day that Lynch’s Eurospar opened its doors, they have been an amazing asset to the local community.
“They have provided much needed and appreciated employment for local people and a friendly and positive shopping experience for its customers.
“As well as running several local competitions for shopping vouchers and sponsoring various Christmas functions for local schools they have now added sponsorship of the new kit for the inspirational Oxford Bulls FC to their list of community benevolent initiatives.
“I know I speak for the entire community in thanking the owners, manager and staff of Lynch’s Eurospar for their inspirational community spirit and in expressing our gratitude for the service they have provided to the community in the relatively short period since the official opening of this local shopping facility.
“On behalf of the residents I wish Lynch’s continued success for many years to come.”
