SDLP Foyleside Candidate Lilian Seenoi-Barr has expressed disappointment at the delay in road resurfacing work scheduled in the Foylesprings area.
“For a year, SDLP representatives have been pushing DFI to address the desperate condition of Foylesprings Road.
“Road-users and ratepayers have had to navigate potholes and cracks that cause damage to vehicles and danger to motorists and pedestrians.
“We were delighted when DFI announced that the road resurfacing would finally commence on Monday 18th March but sadly, there has been yet another delay.
“I have been assured that work, although behind schedule, will start before the end of the month.
“Foylesprings residents have been extremely patient and I, like them, want to see these essential and overdue improvements carried out as soon as possible.”
