Said Mrs Seenoi-Barr: “I attended the Buncrana Road Public Information Event at Da Vinci’s.
“While I’m glad to see progress on this major arterial route, I was concerned that the revised plans did not include a crossing at Coshquin.
“Already, residents of Coshquin have the unenviable and unsafe task of crossing the Buncrana Road in order to get the bus into the city centre.
“The dualling of this road would make that virtually impossible- as well as illegal- as the revised plans do not include a pedestrian crossing at Coshquin.
“This is completely unacceptable.
“I raised this issue with the consultants at the event and I am confident that they will address it going forward,” she added.
