Cusack sends condolences following death of man found on Grafton Street

SDLP Cllr Shauna Cusack has extended her deepest condolences following the death in hospital today of a 43-year-old man.

He was found on Tuesday morning in the Rosemount area with serious head and face injuries.

Said Cllr Cusack said: “This shocking news has set a dark cloud over the city today.

“My heartfelt condolences are with this man’s family and friends during this awful time.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the Grafton Street area in the early hours of Tuesday morning and who may be able to assist with inquires to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
