The information event will be held from 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday 10th April in the committee room at Holy Family chapel.
She said: ”It is important that local residents come along to view these plans and to give their opinion on them.
“There is an unprecedented need for social housing right across the city and Ballymagroarty is an area of high need.
“While 70 new homes would be welcome in tackling our housing crisis it is vital that they are in the right place and are well planned to minimise disruption to existing residents through the construction stage and beyond.
“We also need to look at how any new development, if passed, can maximise benefits to the local community through helping regenerate the wider area and even by employing local people on the site.
“Residents should come along on Wednesday to have their say. I will be there and I will be listening.”
