Work to address excess water running through Maybrook Mews – Cooper

RESIDENTS have raised concerns about excess water running through Maybrook mews and the impact that this is having on them.

Sinn Féin Councillor Mickey Cooper said: “I have received a number of complaints about excess water running through Maybrook mews.

“I have liaised with the Education Authority (EA) who have confirmed the issue is emanating from the grounds of Ardnashee Special School.

“A business case is currently being submitted to the EA management which if successful will see major works carried out to ensure the flooding does not recur in future.

“I will provide a further update in late May once the EA management have made their decision.”
