Mrs Stevenson said: “I have appealed to DfI for the provision of disabled parking bays on behalf of the residents of DeGlin Park.
“Parking issues within the estate have been raised on a number of occasions and it is my priority to deliver on promises made to residents.
“I have discussed the possibility of utilising green space within De Glin to create two disabled parking bays; which would improve accessibility in the area for residents with limited mobility.
“I am hopeful that this matter can progress without delay and I will keep residents updated on the outcome,”
added the former Mayor of Derry.
