The 29-year-old journalist was shot dead by dissident republican terror gang the ‘New IRA’ during rioting in Creggan on Thursday, April 18.
As the investigation continues at pace, the head of the murder probe says more people will be arrested over her murder.
Detective Supt Jason Murphy told UTV that although a teenage gunman fired the fatal shot which killed Lyra, others were involved in the murder plot.
“The fact that the gunman was able to stand within a crowd tells me that that crowd knew who that gunman was, they were comfortable in his company and the spiriting of that individual and the gun away from the scene takes people,” said DS Murphy.

DS Murphy said the ten people suspected of being involved in Lyra’s killing could face murder charges.
He said: “There is potential for more individuals than the gunman himself, being charged with an offence of murder – but you’ve also got other serious offences; conspiracy to murder, hijacking and public disorder.”
There was not just outrage and horror in Derry over Lyra’s murder, but there was international disgust at her barbaric killings.
Politicians united along with religious and civic leaders who called on the ‘New IRA’ to “go away” for shooting dead an innocent civilian in cold blood.
But supporters of the ‘New IRA’ have raised their heads again and on Thursday chilling slogans appeared Creggan not far from where Lyra was shot, warning that “informants will be executed”.

Independent charity Crimestoppers has already offered up to £10,000 for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of those involved in savage murder.
Three people – a 57-year-old woman and two teenagers aged 18 and 19 – were arrested over Lyra’s murder but were released later unconditonally.
