Derry City earned a point against Sligo Rovers on Friday night at the Showgrounds in what was valiant defensive from Declan Devine’s side.
Following a laboured first-half display, Derry City, Peter Cheerie in particular, did well to stand firm against a Sligo onslaught in the second.
City came into the game with just one win in their last six league games while Sligo had gone five unbeaten.
The point keeps Derry in fourth place, four points behind Bohemians in third.
