Partner of missing Derry teen Caoimhin Cassidy devastated over his tragic death

THE partner of a missing Derry man says she is heartbroken at at his death.

Police earlier today issued an appeal to the public in a bid to trace Caoimhin Cassidy.

The 18-year-old was seen last Friday at Great James Street in the city.

He was wearing a full black Adidas tracksuit, with white stripes on the sleeves and legs, he was also wearing a Calvin Klein baseball cap.

There had been a number of sightings of Caoimhin over the past number of days.

This evening his heartbroken partner Raychel Anne Smith McLaughlin posted on Facebook: “My nightmare has become reality 😥 no words can describe how i feel at the minute’.

“Rest in peace, babeyboy.

“I will always, always love you Caoimhin Cassidy 💔💔💔💔💔.”
