HAWK-EYED police on patrol in Derry have taken this large knife and drugs off the streets.
One male was arrested and is currently being questioned at STrand Road police station for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of drugs.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebooke page: “ROU (Reducing Offending Unit) officers on patrol have taken a 12 inch blade and drugs off the street
“The eagle eyed officers on patrol in the City centre on Saturday afternoon observed two suspicious males and recovered the items.
“One male is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
“Police cannot always measure the impact of what they have prevented but we’re glad in this case not to find out.”
