Derry woman’s Strip ‘N’ Dip raises £550 for Altnagelvin’s Sperrin Room

THE chemotherapy unit at Altnagelvin Hospital has been boosted after receiving a generous donation from a Derry woman.

Kathleen Doherty helped raise £550 from a recent ‘Strip ‘N’ Dip in Co Wicklow.

She posted on Facebook: “Delighted to present a cheque for £550 to the staff of the Sperrin Room at Altnagelvin Hospital today, the proceeds of my Strip ‘N’ Dip at County Wicklow.

“Thank you to everyone who sponsored me.

“This was a charity very close to my heart.”
