McCallion congratulates BBC Radio Foyle on 40th anniversary

SINN Féin’s Elisha McCallion has congratulated BBC Radio Foyle on celebrating 40 years on the airwaves.

The Foyle MP said: “Radio Foyle has been an important voice on the airwaves in Derry and the north west for 40 years.

“This institution has provided a platform to local people and existed through the good and bad times.

“I’m delighted that the station continues to grow today with many excellent programmes.

“I would like to congratulate all the staff as they celebrate 40 years on the air and I look forward to more exciting developments in the future.”
