A woman in her 90s has died following an accident involving a motorcycle yesterday evening.
Police were called shortly before 5:50pm on Thursday to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a motorcycle on Drumrane Road in Limavady.
She died at the scene from her injuries.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
He is currently in a critical, but stable condition.
The Drumrane Road has since reopened.
Sergeant Mark Knowles said: “Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with information who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage available to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1563 19/09/19,”
